So for any of you who do not know me very well, when I am not shooting or running my business, I am usually helping my husband with his. I wear many different hats when I work with John; janitor, secretary, real estate agent, painter, book keeper, just to name a few, but one of the best parts of helping him is getting to tear down old rotten houses in preparation for a new build! I am sooooo excited! Tomorrow night my husband and I fly home so I can finally get to touch the rock! For any of you who have no idea what I am talking about, I am from NFLD (The Rock) and while I have lived here in Halifax for almost 10 years I still get this empty feeling in my heart and in the pit of my stomach about every 6-8 months and the only thing that makes it go away is to go home for a little visit.
